The Pennsylvania Friends of Agriculture Foundation will receive $543,296 through September 2028 under a Project Grant from the US Department of Agriculture Office of Advocacy and Outreach. The funding supports the Building Ready and Resilient Veteran Farms program, which will foster connections among beginning veteran farmers and service providers to create a supportive network enabling farms to thrive with a focus on agribusiness knowledge.

This award advances the goals of the USDA's Outreach and Assistance for Socially Disadvantaged and Veteran Farmers and Ranchers program (CFDA 10.443), which aims to encourage and assist veteran farmers and ranchers as well as beginning farmers and ranchers with owning, operating, and participating equitably in farms and ranches.
