The award funds establishment and operation of housing and supportive services for homeless individuals and families in Mobile, Alabama through January 31, 2027. The Continuum of Care Program supports five program components: permanent housing including permanent supportive housing for persons with disabilities and rapid rehousing; transitional housing; supportive services only; Homeless Management Information Systems; and homelessness prevention. Eligible activities include COC planning, acquisition and rehabilitation of real property for housing or supportive services, new construction, and United Funding Agency costs for fiscal control and accounting.
Hope For All Gulf Coast operates as the Housing First, Inc. division and delivers case management, public benefits assistance, temporary financial support for rent and utilities, street outreach, and housing placement support across the Mobile and Baldwin County region. The organization collaborates with local partners including Altapointe Health Systems Inc., Penelope House Inc., and Baldwin Family Violence Shelter to provide specialized mental health treatment and domestic violence support services.
This is one of 228 Continuum of Care awards the organization has received from HUD's Community Planning and Development office.
