About this award

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Department of the Interior (DOI), awarded the State of Utah, Division of Wildlife Resources (UDWR) $100,000 under the Wildlife Restoration and Basic Hunter Education and Safety program (CFDA 15.611) through a Formula Grant mechanism. The award was obligated on July 1, 2025, with a completion date of June 30, 2027. Under this funding, UDWR will maintain, host, and enhance the Utah Lands Tool for Resources and Assets (ULTRA) database, which was initially developed in 2020 to centralize and manage the division's real property records and land management operations.
