Description
The wmas provide valuable habitat for many wetland and upland species across the state. In addition to the wildlife values, the public benefits from opportunities for hunting, fishing, trapping, camping, nature study and wildlife viewing on these areas. Therefore, the use of wildlife and sport fish restoration (wsfr) funds to implement wildlife restoration projects for the conservation, management, and enhancement of wild birds, fishes and mammals and to provide for public use and benefit from these resources is fully justified.
