The Department of Justice Office of Justice Programs Victims of Crime awarded the North Carolina Department of Public Safety $500,000 on October 1, 2025, under the Crime Victim Assistance/Discretionary Grants program (CFDA 16.582) to develop a centralized, trauma-informed, user-friendly platform enhancing victim access to services across North Carolina.

The design incorporates findings from the Governor's Crime Commission's 2021-2023 Statewide Crime Victims Needs Assessment and 2024 Stakeholder Engagement Survey.

The award runs through September 30, 2028, with place of performance in Raleigh, North Carolina. The assistance type is a Cooperative Agreement.
