Added: May 26, 2017 2:36 pm NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 4, 323 North Shore Drive, Suite 400, Pittsburgh, PA 15212, intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price Contract to Alarm Tech Solutions, LLC, for the provision furnishing all labor, travel, testing, testing equipment and materials to perform all maintenance required by NFPA 72 Chapter 10 on Fire Alarm Protection Systems at the Corporeal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center (VAMC) located in Philadelphia, PA. The contractor shall be licensed to work on fire alarm systems manufactured by Fire Control Instruments, Gamewell/Honeywell and FCI Fire Alarm Systems. Personnel performing testing and inspections shall be NICET Level III certified inspector. Personnel performing maintenance of the system need to have a distributor that is E3 certified to do maintenance work on the system. This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the procedures in FAR 13.5 used in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 561621 with a small business size standard of $15M. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. Responsible sources may identify their interest by submitting capability information by 3:00 P.M., EST, on Thursday, June 1, 2017, in order to establish the ability of the source to meet this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification.
