The U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) awarded a $84,007.25 firm-fixed-price purchase order to Modtech Solutions LLC, a minority-owned, veteran-owned small business, to purchase and install security equipment for the Military Sealift Command (MSC) Ship Support Unit (SSU) facility in Guam. The contract includes an access control system (ACS), intrusion detection system (IDS), closed-circuit television (CCTV) system, and uninterruptible power supply (UPS). The security systems must integrate with the Joint Region Marianas Regional Dispatch Center and utilize military Common Access Cards (CAC) for personnel access control. This contract was competitively awarded under a total small business set-aside. Modtech Solutions is an 8(a) Program participant and holds several Indefinite Delivery Vehicles (IDVs) with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and General Services Administration (GSA) that facilitate its federal contracting activities.
