Added: Apr 23, 2015 3:51 pm In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5, this synopsis is for a fiber optic cable expansion to the DHS/Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)/Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP)/Chemical, Ordnance, Biological, and Radiological Training Facility (COBRATF) located in Anniston, Alabama. The Acquisition Operations Division/Preparedness Section intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract award under the authority of FAR Part 13. The objective of this project is to install 6 pair fiber optic cabling from building 61 LAN closet (1) on the second floor, tough basement demark, to terminate in the mezzanine of the Training Building at the COBRATF; install 6 pair fiber optic cabling from ARTC Building 162 network wiring closet to terminate in the mezzanine of the Training Building at the Chemical, Ordnance, Biological and Radiological Training Facility (COBRATF).No Solicitation or Request for Quote (RFQ) is currently available.This competitive acquisition is limited to eligible to Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) concerns only. Eligible offerors shall be a WOSB concern in accordance to Small Business Administration (SBA) requirements in order to participate in this competitive acquisition. The competitive solicitation, all amendments, and any questions and answers related to this procurement will be made available via the internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about May 11, 2015, with proposals being due about 30 days later. It is the responsibility of interested WOSB concerns to monitor this internet site (www.fedbizopps.gov) for the release of this solicitation as well as any amendments. The NAICS code is 517919. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $32.5 million. Any responsible WOSB concern may submit a proposal that will be considered by the Government.This pre-solicitation notice does not commit the Government to the issuance of a solicitation or award of a contract.
