This notice is intended strictly for Market Research. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Eunice Kennedy Siver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development is conducting a market survey to determine the availability and technical capability of qualified small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business or HUBZone small businesses capable of providing a Service contract for Illumina HiSeq2500 and Illumina cBot.The NIDDK intends to maintain service contract. The continued operation of all this equipment is essential and mission critical as the HiSeq2500 and cBOT is an NIDDK resource and over 30 scientists are dependent on it for their research. The Service contract shall cover the essential maintenance needs of these instruments.Accordingly service contract will have to be for the following Illumina HiSeq2500 and cBOT:Model Serial numbersHiSeq2500 SN#700398 cBOT SN#600681The proposed period of performance shall be from June 7, 2016 tough June 6, 2017.Place of Performance: National Institutes of Health, 9000 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, Maryland 20892.The Government will accept the job performed by the Contractor. If it is a repaired, equipment needs to demonstrate continuous performance.The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code 811219 with a size standard of $19.0M. Offerors who are capable of providing at a minimum, fifty-one percent (51%) of the required/actual services of this solicitation. All respondents are requested to identify their firm's size and type of business. Interested firms responding to this market survey must provide (a) capability statement demonstrating their experience, skills and capability to fulfill the Government's requirements for the above. The capability statement shall be in sufficient enough detail, but not to exceed 15 pages, so that the Government can determine the experience and capability of your firm to provide the requirements above. Your capability statement, not to exceed 15 pages, should include references. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number is NICHD16056 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation /contract will include all applicable provisions and clauses in effect tough Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 811219 with a size standard of 500. This acquisition is being conducted using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Eunice Kennedy Siver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) has a requirement to procure a service contract for HiSeq2500 and cBOT.Includes full coverage for parts, labor and travel; Reagent replacement upon HW failures; 0 PM; Remote Technical Support; 5 business day average on‐site response; HW/SW updates; On‐site applications support; Discounts on advanced training. This plan offers affordable protection against costly repairs best suited for budget sensitive customers.The service required is done in on site on the NIH Bethesda campus in Bethesda, MD.The period of performance shall be for 12 months from time of award.The offeror must include a completed copy of the following provisions: 1) FAR Clause 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial items; 2) FAR Clause 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items.
