Solicitation 2/2 8/18/22, 4:18 PM Forty-Four (44) Bioactive Compounds for the MIPE 6. 0 Expansion at NCATS
This is a Small Business Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified small business sources; (2) whether they are small businesses; HUBZone small businesses; service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses; 8(a) small businesses; veteran-owned small businesses; woman-owned small businesses; or small disadvantaged businesses; (3) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition; and (4) availability of domestic sources manufactured in the United States in sufficient and reasonably available commercial quantities and of a satisfactory quality. Responses must include the place of manufacturing (i.e. address if supply/equipment is a domestic end product and include country of manufacture). Small businesses must also address the size status of the manufacturer under the applicable NAICS code (i.e. address Non-Manufacturer Rule). Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. An organization that is not considered a small business under the applicable NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice. This notice is issued to help determine the availability of qualified companies technically capable of meeting the Government requirement and to determine the method of acquisition. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals or quotes. No award will be made as a result of this notice. The Government will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by the respondents to this notice. This notice is strictly for research and information purposes only. Background: The Division of Preclinical Innovation (DPI) within the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), has a multidisciplinary team that developed a high-capacity robotic platform to screen drug combinations. In just a couple of days, the robots can perform a drug screen that would take human researchers months to complete. DPI develops and oversees the tests (called "assays") that run on the platform. The system performs the automated assays using diseased cells that are placed on plates in tiny indentations called wells. Cells are treated in each well with a unique combination of drugs, and the assays reveal the effects of the drugs on each group of cells. One feature that makes the platform stand out from previous combination drug screening efforts is the drug library it uses, called the Mechanism Interrogation PlatE (MIPE). All the drugs in the MIPE collection are relevant for clinical use in cancer and have mechanisms of action that scientists already understand. The observations of each drug pair’s effects on the target cells, coupled with the detailed knowledge about the compounds in the MIPE library, provide the researchers with insights into the interactions between various cellular processes. This library not only enables DPI to find compound combinations that can go rapidly into clinical trials, but also explore the biological processes that create the enhanced effect of a drug combination in a cell, leading to new drug targets. The evolution of the MIPE library requires regular updating with new agents. The MIPE 6.0 expansion will incorporate a number of new agents and further the potential of chemogenomic screening at NCATS. Purpose and Objectives: To acquire forty-four (44) specified agents for replenishment and expansion of the MIPE screening library. Project requirements: The contractor shall deliver the following compounds. The compounds shall be packaged and shipped in accordance with industry practices to avoid damage and ensure safe delivery and receipt: Name CAS Unit Size Quantity Derenofylline 251945-92-3 5mg 1 SR-3306 1128096-91-2 5mg 1 Gefitinib-based PROTAC 3 2230821-27-7 10mg 1 Anisina 1861449-70-8 10mg 1 ALW-II-41-27 1186206-79-0 5mg 1 BMS-1166 1818314-88-3 5mg 1 LY-2857785 1619903-54-6 5mg 1 OSU-T315 1333146-24-9 5mg 1 MD-224 2136247-12-4 10mg 1 Supinoxin 888478-45-3 5mg 1 HG-6-64-1 1315329-43-1 5mg 1 PTC-691 420126-30-3 5mg 1 GMB-475 None assigned 10mg 1 S-64315 1799631-75-6 10mg 1 ACBI-1 2375564-55-7 10mg 1 BETd-260 2093388-62-4 10mg 1 MZP-55 2010159-48-3 10mg 1 MZP-54 2010159-47-2 10mg 1 Motixafortide 664334-36-5 25mg 1 Voclosporin 515814-01-4 10mg 1 BETd-246 2140289-17-2 10mg 1 ADU-S100 1638750-95-4 10mg 1 Dolastatin 10 110417-88-4 5mg 2 GNE-987 None assigned 10mg 1 JH-XI-10-02 2209085-22-1 10mg 1 BI-3663 2341740-84-7 10mg 1 Eribulin 441045-17-6 10mg 1 Lurbinectedin 497871-47-3 2mg 3 BI605906 960293-88-3 10mg 1 BAI1 335165-68-9 10mg 1 Pelcitoclax None assigned 10mg 1 HA14-1 65673-63-4 50mg 1 Maritoclax 1227962-62-0 10mg 1 S65487 1644600-79-2 10mg 1 Necrosulfonamide 1360614-48-7 25mg 1 GSK2983559 1423186-80-4 10mg 1 JNJ-67856633 2230273-76-2 10mg 1 Phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (PMA) 16561-29-8 25mg 1 MLT-943 1832576-04-1 10mg 1 T6167923 2437475-16-4 10mg 1 MLT-748 1832578-30-9 10mg 1 TC13172 2093393-05-4 10mg 1 Alflutinib 2130958-55-1 10mg 1 ALDH1A1-IN-2 2231081-18-6 10mg 1 The salient characteristics for all of the compounds shall include: The quantity and weight as listed above.
