Added: Aug 28, 2009 9:55 am The Carl Vinson VA Medical Center, 1826 Veterans Blvd, Dublin, GA,is advertising for an Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity,multi-discipline contract for Architect-Engineer Services. The selectedA/E firm shall provide professional A/E services for various VA projectsas required. Tasks shall include architectural, civil, mechanical,plumbing, electrical and structural disciplines. A/E services shallinclude, but are not limited to: site investigations, consultations,conceptual designs, plans and specifications, verification of as-builtdrawings, analysis of utility systems, detailed drawings, accurate costestimates, construction period services. This is a request for SF 330's Architect-Engineer Qualifications only.Forms are available on the internet at: http://vaww.va.gov/facmgt/ae/ Any requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. To beconsidered for selection, interested, eligible firms shall submit onecopy of their SF330 no later than September 28, 2009, by 4:30 pm localtime to Angela White, Contracting Officer by e-mail atangie.white1@va.gov. File size must be 4MB or less. The estimatedmaximum cumulative A/E fees under any resultant contract shall notexceed $1.5 million, which is inclusive of the base year and two (2)one-year option periods. Maximum fee for each order shall not exceed$200,000. The minimum guarantee for the entire contract term is$15,000.00. The award of the initial task order will satisfy theminimum guarantee for the entire contract term (including option years).There will be no dollar limit per year, but once the $1,500,000 maximumis exhausted regardless of time and year the contract will be concluded.Multiple task orders may be awarded with similar completion schedulesand overlapping delivery dates. Eligible firms must be located withinthe state of Georgia. The North American Industry Classification System(NAICS) Codes that apply to this solicitation are 541310 and 541330.The Small Business size standard is $4,500,000 in annual gross revenuesaveraged over the past three years. The A/E selection criteria shallinclude the following elements (a) through (m), not necessarily listedin order of importance or merit: a) Proposed management plan; b)Previous experience; c) Professional qualifications; d) Facilitieslocation; e)Proposed design approach; f) Cost control; g) Schedulecontrol; h)Estimating effectiveness; i) Describe your experience andcapabilities in the following areas: value engineering, life cycleanalysis, critical path method, fast-track-construction, energyconservation, new energy sources, environmental assessment, specializedexperience, computer aided design, drafting, and other computerapplications; j) Describe awards received; k) Describe circumstances andoutcomes of any litigation you have been involved in over the past fiveyears; l) Indicate type and amount of liability insurance you carry;m)Describe background of proposed key personnel. THIS IS NOT A REQUESTFOR PROPOSAL. No material will be issued and no solicitation package orbidder/plan holder list will be issued. This procurement is set asidefor service disabled veteran owned small businesses.
