About this award
The University of Maryland, College Park is delivering on a $8.8 million cost-no-fee contract from the Department of Homeland Security's Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (DHS CWMD) program. Under the contract, UMCP will develop the TEVUS database and portal to support COVID-19 studies, as well as provide advanced situational awareness capabilities to prevent targeted violence within the United States. A subcontract of approximately $8.8 million was awarded to Second Sight Training Systems, LLC to assist with the situational awareness efforts. The work will be conducted in Berwyn Heights, Maryland through January 2022.
