Description

Southwest border communications interoperability analysis and design. IT is the mission of the DOI national radio and spectrum program management office (nrspmo), to consolidate disparate radio network systems into a homogenous, holistic set of national radio networks, which are centrally planned and managed, as well as integrated with other DOI infrastructure assets, particularly data and voice enterprise networking initiatives. The objective of this task order is to gather quantitative user needs and requirements, detailed existing system and radio equipment information, and user and system support requirements, develop an engineering architecture reflecting various relevant technologies and then designs specific to locations to provide interoperability. Lastly an implementation plan serving as the foundation for deployment of the design (implementation itself is not included in this acquisition).
