Added: Apr 17, 2015 2:44 pm The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is soliciting for Information Technology (IT) End User Support (EUS) Services in support of the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). These services are necessary in maintaining Operation Readiness of the USPTO's automated systems and the underlying IT infrastructure. Requirements include, but not limited to: 1. Desktop Deployments and Moves 2. Desktop Field Support 3. Warehouse Operations Support 4. Audio Visual Support 5. Technical Writing / Document Development 6. Test & Evaluation Hardware Support 7. Security Operations & Enterprise Monitoring 8. Release Control Branch Support 9. Inventory Maintenance Support 10. Network Operations & Maintenance 11. Network Cabling)12. Collaboration Services and Support 13. Authorization & Assessment (A&A) 14. Advanced Problem Resolution 15. Future Requirements include but not limited to Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Support, monthly walk tough with equipment designed to read the RFID tags to assist in tracking assets and performing some or all of the requirements listed above at locations other than the Carlyle Campus in Alexandria, VA.Additionally, the objective of these services and any future requirements of this project is to ensure the USPTO has available the resources needed to carry out its mission. The Government contemplates a single hybrid award on a Fixed-Price, Labor Hour and Indefinite Quantity basis. The USPTO intends to compete this requirement as a 100% Set-Aside for Small Business for a 12-month base period, with four (4), 12-month option periods, for a maximum period of five (5) years. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541513 (Computer Facilities Management Services). The small business size standard is $27.5M. The incumbent is Evolver, Inc. under Contract No. DOC50PAPT0901027 with an estimated total obligation amount of $121M over a five (5) year period.The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted (when available) to the Federal Business Opportunities website, FBO.gov, under the subject solicitation number for this procurement. The USPTO is not accepting proposals at this time. The USPTO anticipates release of the RFP within 30 to 45 days from the posting of this notice. It is the Offeror's responsibility to monitor FBO for release of the RFP and subsequent amendments.
