About the company
Summerfield Charter Academy, Inc. is a non-profit organization doing business as National Heritage Academies. National Heritage Academies operates charter schools across the United States.
Through federal grants subawarded from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, Summerfield Charter Academy has provided COVID-19 relief services to prepare classrooms for safe operation during the pandemic. The ESSER II PRC 171 award provided COVID relief funds for this purpose. Additional awards under CRRSA ESSER II and III likely served similar purposes related to the educational impacts of COVID-19.
