Marenisco Township Of

Marenisco Township Of, located in Merriweather, Michigan, is a local government entity that has established itself as a recipient of federal grant funding to support educational initiatives within its jurisdiction. As a U.S. township government, the entity has maintained active registration in SAM.gov since June 2007 and continues to receive federal assistance through grants administered by the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education. The township's engagement with federal funding mechanisms demonstrates its commitment to leveraging available resources to enhance educational services and infrastructure within its community.

Marenisco Township Of has received consecutive prime federal grant awards exclusively through the Impact Aid Program under Title VII, Section 7002, which provides federal assistance to school districts and local educational agencies that serve federally connected children. The township has secured five project grants from the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education, with award dates spanning from March 31, 2022, through October 1, 2025, with completion dates extending through September 30, 2031. These Impact Aid grants are designed to help offset the financial burden of educating children whose families are connected to federal installations or activities, such as military bases or Native American reservations. The consistent annual renewal of these grants indicates that Marenisco Township has maintained compliance with program requirements and continues to serve a qualifying population of federally connected students within its school district boundaries.
