A major two-year $230,070 Cooperative Agreement from 2023-2025 under the National Agricultural Library program supports the "Advancement of Cotton Genetic Resources through Use of a Costa Rican Counter Season Nursery" project. Prior Project Grants in 2021-2022 totaling $107,828 enabled "Utilization of a Site in Costa Rica for Winter Season Production of Cotton Seed" to increase seed stocks of critical accessions in the U.S. National Cotton Germplasm Collection and meet research needs at other ARS locations.
