Comicdom Press NON Profit Company

Comicdom Press NON Profit Company is a Greek non-profit organization registered to receive federal grant awards from the U.S. government since April 15, 2020. The organization specializes in utilizing comics and sports, particularly soccer, as mediums for promoting social initiatives and cultural exchange. Through its federal grant awards, Comicdom Press engages in projects that focus on youth empowerment, gender equality, refugee integration, and cultural diplomacy. These initiatives align with the goals of the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs to foster positive relationships and promote American values in the region.

The organization has received multiple project grants from the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, demonstrating a consistent partnership in cultural and social programs. In 2020, Comicdom Press conducted comics storytelling workshops in Athens and Thessaloniki, featuring U.S. artist participation, to inspire and equip young girls and women with creative skills. In 2022, they launched a project titled "Scoring a Goal for Inclusivity," which used soccer as a platform to promote gender equality and refugee integration for Greek and migrant women and girls. Most recently, in March 2024, Comicdom Press was awarded a grant to implement the Sports Envoy Program 2024, involving two visiting soccer envoys. This program aims to engage youth audiences and supports the establishment of an American Space in Piraeus, further enhancing cultural ties between the United States and Greece.
