Alpha School District

Alpha School District, operating as Alpha Borough School, is a U.S. local government entity and school district registered to receive federal awards since December 2008. As a school district, it primarily focuses on providing educational services to students in the Alpha Borough area. The district has been actively involved in receiving federal grant sub-awards, indicating its participation in various federally funded educational programs. These programs are designed to support and enhance the educational services provided to students within the district's jurisdiction.

The federal grant sub-awards received by Alpha School District demonstrate its involvement in two main areas: school nutrition and emergency relief. The district has been a recipient of multiple School Nutrition Program sub-awards from the New Jersey Department of Agriculture, suggesting a commitment to providing nutritious meals to students and promoting healthy eating habits within the school system. Additionally, Alpha School District received an emergency relief sub-award from the New Jersey Department of Education, likely in response to challenges posed by unforeseen circumstances such as the COVID-19 pandemic. This emergency funding was likely used to address immediate needs and ensure continuity of education during crisis situations. These sub-awards highlight the district's active participation in state-administered federal grant programs aimed at supporting various aspects of student well-being and educational resilience.
