The source provided contains program policy and administrative guidance but does not include recent grant awards, funding amounts, award cadence, or open grant opportunities. Without access to the grant award portfolio, recent awards, or current solicitations, the recency and competitive positioning of this program cannot be assessed from the materials supplied. The source confirms that awards are made through competitive application reviewed for eligibility, responsiveness, merit, programmatic and budget criteria; that final award decisions rest with the Assistant Attorney General; and that successful applicants receive award packages via JustGrants within 45 days of notification. Award periods may be extended under specific criteria detailed in the DOJ Grants Financial Guide. Recipients must retain award-related records for three years from submission of the final Federal Financial Report and comply with audit requirements under 2 CFR 200 Subpart F.

To evaluate whether this program represents a viable funding avenue, you will need access to the grant award portfolio block showing recent disbursements, funding trends, and assistance-type mix; the most recent grant awards to establish typical award sizes and scope; and the current Notice of Funding Opportunity if one is active.
