About this program

The Department of Housing and Urban Development Office of Healthy Homes and Lead Hazard Control no longer operates this program—Assistance Listing 14.914 is defunct and has not issued grant awards since 2011.

The program's stated purpose was to fund public housing agencies to conduct radon testing and mitigation in federally assisted multifamily housing units and to develop plans for future testing and mitigation. The single award on record is a Cooperative Agreement issued on October 28, 2011, to support healthy homes asthma intervention, valued at $425,000 with a completion date of October 31, 2014. No grant opportunities have been posted recently, and no recent grant awards are documented.

Given the 15-year funding gap and the program's defunct status in the source documentation, this Assistance Listing should not be pursued.
