About this opportunity

The Minnesota Department of Health is issuing a single-source renewal notice for access to Wolters Kluwer's Medi-Span pharmaceutical reference data product, with concerns due by October 9, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Central Time.

MDH has determined that Medi-Span is the only application that would allow their research to be maintained and continued, and that Wolters Kluwer is the only vendor providing this solution. The product delivers detailed pharmaceutical reference data organized by National Drug Code, including procedural codes for drug delivery in clinic and hospital settings, drug characteristics, classification, use, and pricing. The data is delivered as reference tables that create associations between different identifiers and coding systems for drugs.

The renewal is for up to 12 months. This is a single-source notification posting only — no solicitation documents are available for download. Interested parties or vendors with concerns regarding the single-source determination may contact Bonnie Spray at bonnie.spray@state.mn.us, call the HelpLine at 651.296.2600 (MN Relay Service: 711 or 1.800.627.3529), or fax to 651.297.3996, ATTN: HelpLine. All submissions and documentation are conducted through the State of Minnesota Supplier Portal. The full description is available through login at the Supplier Portal.
