About this opportunity
Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW Airport) is soliciting proposals for comprehensive window cleaning services on all airport buildings at established frequencies under a five-year contract with proposals due September 22, 2026. A 15% Small Business Enterprise goal requiring SBE+ certification applies.
The scope encompasses cleaning of all building envelope windows and frames (interior and exterior), window entrances, windows taller than seven feet above finished floor, interior glass partitions and doors, glass canopies, garage lobby windows, escalator partition glass, and high dusting of ledges, frames, vents, exterior air-conditioning ducts, and curved walls at Skylink Stations. The contractor must develop detailed work plans for each building listed in Exhibit 1A prior to first service and obtain approval from the DFW Airport Board ETAM Asset Management Representative two weeks before scheduling service. All work must be scheduled to minimize inconvenience to building occupants.
Pricing is all-inclusive and based on location square footage and cleaning frequency as established in Exhibit 1A Price Per Location, with no price adjustments permitted except for airport-imposed charges for badging, employee transportation, and airfield operations area permits. The contractor must submit an Exhibit 1B hourly rate for work beyond the specified scope, with markups capped at 15 percent for contractor-performed work and aggregate markups not exceeding 15 percent when subcontractors perform supplemental services. All work beyond scope requires prior written approval.
The contractor is responsible for all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, chemicals, and tools, including specialized equipment for reaching high spaces (lifts, boatswain chairs, rope descent systems, aerial work platforms). All contractor and subcontractor employees must obtain Blue SIDA Badges, pass background checks, and complete IWCCI Window Cleaner Certification within one year of contract start.
