About this opportunity

Golden Ranch Municipal District of Collin County, Texas is soliciting bids for installation of a packaged fiberglass lift station system at Wagon Creek Phase 1, with proposals due October 6, 2026. The project is structured as a unit price contract with lump-sum mobilization and phased payments tied to completion milestones.

The scope encompasses a complete lift station installation including wet well, buried valve vault, submersible pumps, jib crane, electrical equipment, standby diesel generator, automatic transfer switch, SCADA controls, and all piping, valving, and appurtenances. Site civil work includes clearing, staking, paving, drainage, grading, fencing, and spoil removal. The contractor must coordinate electrical service installation with Grayson Collin Electric Cooperative (GCEC) with all GCEC invoices submitted to the owner at invoice amount with no markup allowed. Concrete testing requires four test cylinders for every 50 cubic yards and density testing at one test per 250 linear feet of trench backfill. The contractor must comply with OSHA trench safety standards per Texas House Bill 1569 and maintain temporary erosion and sediment control measures throughout construction.

Deliverables include shop drawings, product data, and samples submitted to Chris Connolly at Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. (260 East Davis Street, Suite 100, McKinney, Texas 75069) via ShareFile or email, with a ten-calendar-day engineer review period for submittals. Upon completion, the contractor must provide operation and maintenance manuals in bound and electronic compact disc formats, maintain lawn and seeded areas for 120 days post-final acceptance with grass warranty, and compile record documents showing all construction changes and modifications for engineer approval prior to final payment.

A preconstruction conference will be held prior to Notice to Proceed, with biweekly project meetings thereafter. The specifications document was released as incomplete and temporary for bidding purposes only, not for construction or permit use (Kimley-Horn Project 063451932).
