About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking to procure a specific mechanical component, identified as a UNION, 3/8"NPT X 3/8"TUBE with reference number 2093919. This procurement opportunity is specifically located in Dallas County, Texas, and requires vendors to complete registration through the Bonfire platform to access detailed bid information. The contract opportunity was posted on July 23, 2025, with proposals due by July 28, 2025. Vendors must adhere to strict delivery and payment terms, including FOB Destination shipping with freight costs incorporated into the overall price and a mandatory Net 30 payment structure. Potential suppliers must submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org with comprehensive documentation including purchase order number, item details, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. DART emphasizes that time and delivery rates are critical, and failure to meet specified delivery requirements could result in order rejection or default termination.

While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the provided documentation, the procurement opportunity appears open to qualified vendors who can meet DART's rigorous terms and conditions. The attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF indicates several important vendor requirements, including commitments to equal opportunity employment, non-engagement with foreign terrorist organizations, and a pledge not to boycott Israel. The document suggests DART is seeking a supplier capable of providing precise mechanical components with high-quality standards and reliable delivery performance. Though no specific award value or budget range is mentioned, the procurement appears focused on a specific technical component for DART's operational infrastructure. Vendors must carefully review the comprehensive terms and conditions, which outline expectations for product warranties, performance standards, and potential remedies for non-compliance with purchase order specifications.
