The scope encompasses removal and repaving of a driveway apron at 57455 Abbot Drive in Sunriver; installation of a storm drain catch basin, sedimentation manhole, drywell with 95 cubic yard storage capacity, and rock gallery with approximately 47 linear feet of 8-inch diameter PVC storm pipe; infiltration testing of the drywell prior to subgrade and asphalt completion, including a one-hour flow test and 72-hour drainage verification test; proof rolling of subgrade before and after crushed aggregate placement; installation of 93 linear feet of high-strength mountable concrete curb; installation of two bollards and delineator round posts; extension of a cement slab on the east side of the building around a fire hydrant; and placement of ODOT Level 3 dense asphalt concrete 3 inches thick over an aggregate base course. The drywell must be excavated to a minimum 13 feet below finish rim with 10 feet of rock fracturing below, and infiltration testing must comply with City of Redmond standards.

Sealed bids, submitted in opaque envelopes marked with the bidder's name and project title, must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check equal to ten percent of the bid. First-tier subcontractors with contracts valued at five percent or greater of the project bid but at least $15,000, or $350,000 regardless of percentage, must be disclosed with the bid or within two hours after closing. Performance and payment bonds, each 100% of contract price with a corporate surety approved by the District, are required. Contractors must demonstrate an employee drug-testing program within ten days of Notice of Award and maintain comprehensive commercial general liability insurance ($4,000,000 general aggregate / $2,000,000 per occurrence), workers' compensation insurance, and builder's all-risk insurance. No prequalification is required. The contractor must commence work within ten calendar days of Notice to Proceed and complete all work within 60 days. Liquidated damages are $25 per day for delay beyond the completion deadline. Award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder, and the successful bidder must execute the contract within ten calendar days of Notice of Award.
