About this opportunity

The New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE), specifically the Office of Safety and Youth Development (OSYD), is seeking proposals for comprehensive Student Support Services across multiple counties, including Kings County. This open-ended solicitation invites organizations to provide high-quality direct support services for students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, with services designed to supplement regular classroom instruction and occur during school days, before/after school, and non-school periods. The procurement is divided into two primary components: Component A focuses on student support services including leadership development, individual and group counseling, mentoring, recreation, college planning, career awareness, conflict resolution, violence prevention, bullying prevention, substance abuse intervention, and family support services. Component B concentrates on academic enrichment services such as tutoring, homework assistance, study skills, academic skill enhancement, and family literacy. Proposals are due by August 25, 2045, at 1:00 PM, with submissions required at 65 Court Street, Room 1201, Brooklyn, NY, and electronic copies emailed to DCPSubmissions@schools.nyc.gov. Interested vendors can download solicitation documents from the provided NYCDOE website or request materials by emailing vendorhotline@schools.nyc.gov.

The solicitation does not include a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business set-aside, and appears open to multiple qualified vendors across five New York counties: Bronx, Kings, New York, Queens, and Richmond. The contract term is specified as five years, with the primary objective of helping students achieve positive academic outcomes, develop healthy lifestyles, increase self-confidence, and experience personal growth. While specific budget ranges are not explicitly stated, the comprehensive nature of the services suggests significant potential contract values for selected providers. Organizations responding to this opportunity must demonstrate experience in delivering high-quality student support services and ability to collaborate effectively with NYCDOE schools and offices. Questions regarding the solicitation can be directed to ISPSupport@schools.nyc.gov, and vendors are required to provide detailed company information including name, address, contact details, Tax ID Number, and MTAC Number in all correspondence.
