About this opportunity
The State of Alabama, through the Alabama Department of Industrial Training (AIDT), is issuing a sole-source Quick Quote for West Alabama Works project management services, with responses due September 7, 2026. This is a second-round sole-source solicitation; all other suppliers were not removed during round one.
Responses must be submitted electronically through Alabama Buys. The contract term may extend up to five years from the effective date with annual renewal options by written agreement, provided total contract cost does not exceed $25,000 including the original agreement and any subsequent renewals.
Suppliers must register in Alabama Buys, maintain compliance with Alabama sales tax registration requirements, enroll in the E-Verify program if employing workers in Alabama, and certify compliance with the Beason-Hammon Alabama Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act regarding unauthorized aliens. Foreign corporations must register with the Alabama Secretary of State when applicable. Suppliers must submit W-9 forms, disclosure statements, Beason-Hammon Act compliance certificates, E-Verify MOUs, and a fully executed copy of AIDT's Financial Terms and Conditions.
Payment terms are NET 30 from invoice date. AIDT prohibits advance payments, deposits, finance charges, late fees, credit card fees, attorney fees, and other costs not directly related to contracted goods or services. All orders must be accompanied by official AIDT Purchase Orders, with invoices submitted via email to invoices@aidt.edu or fax to (334)-613-3287. Price escalation requests may be considered if material, labor, or other contract components increase significantly, with proposed increases limited to 5 percent of annual contract cost and capped by applicable industry-specific price indices or Consumer Price Index benchmarks. Alabama law governs all contracts. Either party may terminate with thirty days' written notice. The State reserves the right to cancel for convenience and retains sovereign immunity rights.
