About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for a purchase order to supply shoes with carbon inserts in sets of two (Item Number 2097920). This procurement is posted through Texas state contracting channels and is jurisdictionally located in Dallas County. The specification requires vendors to provide sets of two shoes featuring carbon inserts, though detailed product specifications and technical requirements are available through the BONFIRE registration system and the in-browser BidTable accessed during the proposal submission process. The procurement is subject to DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which mandate strict adherence to delivery schedules, compliance with all referenced specifications and drawings, and merchantable quality standards. Vendors must submit bids by February 13, 2026, with the opportunity posted on February 6, 2026, providing a seven-day bidding window. All pricing must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in quoted prices, and DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add terms. Sellers are responsible for performing inspections and tests to verify conformance to all requirements, and delivery timelines are essential to the agreement, with failure to meet specified schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination.

The documentation does not explicitly identify set-aside designations or restrictions limiting participation to specific enterprise categories such as disadvantaged, minority-owned, women-owned, or service-disabled veteran-owned businesses. However, all vendors must comply with equal employment opportunity requirements and certify that they are not identified on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with foreign terrorist organization contracts, and must verify that neither they nor their affiliates boycott Israel. Payment terms require invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org within 30 days from receipt of invoice or order, whichever is later, with Net 30 payment terms. The specific award value or budget range for this procurement is not disclosed in the available documentation. No incumbent vendors or existing contractors are identified in the posting materials, and no specific technology infrastructure integration requirements are noted. Interested vendors must register with BONFIRE to access complete project details, specifications, and the vendor response fields necessary to submit a competitive bid.
