About this opportunity

The City of Dallas is soliciting bids to establish a 36-month Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity service price agreement for maintenance and repair services on sewer and storm drain inspection camera systems for the Department of Water Utilities, with bids due October 2, 2026, and a pre-bid conference on September 16, 2026.

Bidders must have a minimum of one year of established experience providing sewer and storm drain inspection camera maintenance and repair services. All parts must be Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) approved, and only OEM-authorized providers will be considered; the City reserves the right to obtain services elsewhere if a vendor loses authorization during the contract term. Services include repair of cameras, crawlers, cables, winches, and electronic circuitry and components, ordered on an as-needed basis. Contractors must provide written reports outlining camera problems, estimated repair time, and estimated costs within two business days of receiving damaged equipment and must complete service orders within fourteen business days after work order receipt or provide written notice of extenuating circumstances. Contractors must maintain adequate inventory to avoid extended delivery times.

The initial contract term is 36 months with two one-year renewal options. Pricing shall remain firm throughout the initial contract term, with adjustments considered only at renewal or extension. Contractors awarded contracts valued greater than $50,000 must comply with the City's wage floor requirement of $23.06 per hour as established by Resolution 15-2141. The SBE participation goal is 0.00%. Bid security of $100.00 is required. Within fifteen days of award, contractors must provide performance bonds, payment bonds, and comprehensive insurance coverage as detailed in the attachments.

Questions are due September 20, 2026, at 11:30 PM CST. The contract will commence upon City Council approval and contract execution.
