Unit pricing shall be stated without sales tax; Washington sales tax of 8.4% for Chehalis will be added at invoice. Prices must remain firm for the contract duration unless the vendor provides documentation supporting fair and reasonable changes based on market conditions, with fourteen to thirty days' written notice required. The District reserves the right to award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder considering best value criteria including competitive pricing, life-cycle costs, and satisfaction of District needs.
