About this opportunity

Fort Bend County, Texas has posted bid documents for the Robinson Road Segment 1 Street Reconstruction Project with a proposal due date of September 11, 2026.

The posted document is a geotechnical investigation report completed by Associated Testing Laboratories, Inc., not a solicitation for new work. The report presents the results of a subsurface exploration program comprising nineteen geotechnical borings drilled to approximately 15–16 feet below ground surface in accordance with ASTM Standards. ATL reviewed available geologic and geotechnical data, performed laboratory testing on soil samples from the borings, and developed boring log profiles documenting subsurface soil and groundwater conditions.

Deliverables include subsurface properties and groundwater information, preliminary fault review based on available fault maps, and geotechnical recommendations covering paving thickness, subgrade preparation and compaction, stabilization methods, pavement construction, trench bedding and backfill specifications, loads on buried pipes (dead and live vehicle loads), dewatering considerations, and construction methodology.

The posted bid document functions as a technical reference to support the overall project solicitation and does not itself constitute a standalone procurement with commercial terms. No contract value, contract term, set-aside or preference program, incumbent, evaluation criteria, question deadline, pre-bid meeting, or anticipated award date are specified in the source material.
