About this opportunity
The State of Alabama Office of the Chief Procurement Officer is soliciting quick quotes for electrical maintenance through the Alabama Buys platform, with responses due October 1, 2026.
This is a quick quote solicitation governed by Alabama's Standard Terms and Conditions for Quick Quotes. Suppliers must register in Alabama Buys and submit responses electronically through the Public Solicitation site by the close date and time. All supplier inquiries must be submitted online through the Supplier Portal to maintain an official record.
The contract is not to exceed $25,000 in total cost or five years from the effective date, whichever occurs first. The contract may be renewed annually by written agreement between the parties. The State of Alabama is exempt from sales tax and will furnish exemption letters upon request. Suppliers must accept multiple forms of electronic payment, including state-issued credit cards, P-cards, and electronic fund transfers at no additional cost to the State.
Suppliers must comply with the Beason-Hammon Alabama Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act and demonstrate E-Verify enrollment prior to award if they employ one or more employees within Alabama. Foreign entities must register with the Alabama Secretary of State before conducting business in the State. By submitting a quote, suppliers certify compliance with all terms and conditions and affirm they have received all solicitation documents and amendments. The contract is governed by Alabama state law with exclusive venue in Montgomery. Price escalation requests may be considered if material or labor costs significantly increase through no fault of the supplier, provided increases do not exceed 5 percent of annual contract cost and are supported by documentation. The State retains the right to conduct cost realism and price reasonableness analysis on all bids and reserves the right to cancel contracts for convenience with as much notice as practicable.
