About this opportunity

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is issuing a Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFSQ) Number 613-SH to establish Master Agreements for Water Well System Maintenance Services. The procurement seeks qualified vendors to provide comprehensive maintenance services for three water well systems encompassing eleven water wells and nine booster pumps located in Los Angeles County. Services include water well pump removal and installations, water well drilling, water treatment equipment repairs, performance testing, casing cleaning and repairs, video inspections, chemical disinfecting, and related maintenance activities. Vendors are not required to be qualified for all service categories and may submit qualifications for one, some, or all listed service categories outlined in Appendix A of the RFSQ. The solicitation was initially posted on July 21, 2017, with a notable due date of January 16, 3025, which appears to be a potential typographical error. Minimum mandatory qualifications are required, though specific details were not fully disclosed in the provided document excerpt.

The RFSQ does not explicitly indicate specific set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged business enterprises. No incumbent vendors or current contractors were mentioned in the available information. The procurement appears to be structured as an as-needed master agreement, suggesting flexibility in service delivery and potential contract utilization. While specific budget ranges were not provided, the comprehensive nature of the maintenance services implies a potentially significant contract value. The contract term is not definitively stated, but the document suggests a multi-year arrangement enabling the County to solicit water well system maintenance services from qualified contractors throughout the agreement's duration. Interested vendors must carefully review Attachment 1's Statement of Work and Appendix A's Required Forms to understand the full scope of qualifications and service categories available for submission.
