About this opportunity
The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) in Cincinnati is requesting quotations for 32 line items of inventory transit bus parts under RFQ 5448, with quotes due September 23, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. — a same-day deadline. All bids must be submitted electronically through SORTA's e-Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/go-metro; bids submitted in other formats will be considered non-responsive.
The scope consists of transit bus components and parts including tensioners, shafts, solenoids, clamps, washers, thermostats, seals, motors, pumps, glass panels, and fasteners, with quantities ranging from one to fifty units per item. All pricing must be all-inclusive of freight. Bidders must note lead times in days in the pricing table notes field to indicate fulfillment time for the entire delivered quantity; "stock" quotes still require a lead-time entry. If quoting non-OEM or substitute parts, bidders must identify the alternate part number in the specified format (RM#######). Any applicable core fees must be entered in the notes field. Quotes are valid for thirty days from submission.
Award will go to the responsive bidder submitting the lowest price, with evaluation also considering bidder character, integrity, compliance with federal and state regulations, financial resources, technical capability, and past performance. Late bids will not be considered unless circumstances beyond the bidder's control prevented timely submission; SORTA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part.
Questions or submission problems should be directed to David Drummonds, Supply Chain Coordinator, at ddrummonds@go-metro.com or (513) 632-7548.

RFQ Bid Form Instructions
BIDS NOT SUBMITTED THROUGH E-PROCUREMENT PORTAL WILL BE CONSIDERED NON-RESPONSIVE
PLEASE CONTACT THE BUYER DIRECTLY WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR PROBLEMS WITH A BID
• All suppliers shall utilize the pricing table within the E-procurement portal. Bids received in other formats may be considered non-responsive.
• Items of Importance:
- All quotes must have the freight included in the price.
- Lead time: L/T must be noted in the NOTES column in the bid table. This is the lead-time required to fulfill the entire delivered qty on the RFQ. Lead-time should be in days only and reflect the number of days required to fulfill the entire delivered qty on the RFQ.
- "Stock" quotes are subjective and will still require a L/T in days for us to fairly evaluate bids.
- If the part is not OEM or the specific part # requested, please put the following format in the lead time notes with the specific part # you are quoting. (RM#######)
- Enter any Core fee in the NOTES field located in the pricing table
- If you do not carry a part, please select "no bid."
