About this opportunity
The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) is requesting quotations for 23 line items of inventory parts for transit vehicle operations under RFQ 5424, with responses due August 17, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. through the e-Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/go-metro. Bids submitted outside the portal will be considered non-responsive. FTA Disadvantaged Business Enterprise requirements apply to evaluation.
The scope includes replacement parts for transit vehicles — water filter components, brake chambers, torque rods, windshields, panels, gaskets, bumpers, harnesses, seals, and emissions-related components — with quantities ranging from one to twelve units per line item across 23 line items. All pricing must be all-inclusive of freight costs. Vendors must note lead times in days required to fulfill the entire delivered quantity in the notes column of the pricing table; "stock" quotes still require a lead-time notation. If quoting a non-OEM or substitute part number, vendors must identify it in the format (RM#######). Any core fees must be entered in the notes field. Quotes remain valid for 30 days from submission.
Award will be made to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid; SORTA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part. Evaluation criteria include vendor responsibility, past performance, financial capability, technical capacity, compliance with federal and state regulations including FTA DBE requirements, and ability to meet delivery schedules.
Inquiries should be directed to David Drummonds, Supply Chain Coordinator, at ddrummonds@go-metro.com or (513) 632-7548.

RFQ Bid Form Instructions
BIDS NOT SUBMITTED THROUGH E-PROCUREMENT PORTAL WILL BE CONSIDERED NON-RESPONSIVE
PLEASE CONTACT THE BUYER DIRECTLY WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR PROBLEMS WITH A BID
• All suppliers shall utilize the pricing table within the E-procurement portal. Bids received in other formats may be considered non-responsive.
• Items of Importance:
- All quotes must have the freight included in the price.
- Lead time: L/T must be noted in the NOTES column in the bid table. This is the lead-time required to fulfill the entire delivered qty on the RFQ. Lead-time should be in days only and reflect the number of days required to fulfill the entire delivered qty on the RFQ.
- "Stock" quotes are subjective and will still require a L/T in days for us to fairly evaluate bids.
- If the part is not OEM or the specific part # requested, please put the following format in the lead time notes with the specific part # you are quoting. (RM#######)
- Enter any Core fee in the NOTES field located in the pricing table
- If you do not carry a part, please select "no bid."
