About this opportunity

Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) is requesting quotations for 23 line items of inventory parts to support transit vehicle operations under RFQ 5418, with quotes due August 11, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. — a same-day deadline.

The scope comprises transit vehicle components including service valves, wire rope assemblies, valve assemblies, bolts, washers, switches, nuts, latches, turbochargers, controllers, gaskets, clamps, o-rings, and compressors, with quantities ranging from 1 to 20 units per line item. All pricing must be all-inclusive with freight incorporated into unit costs. Bidders must note lead times in days required to fulfill the entire delivered quantity for each line item; stock quotes remain subject to lead-time documentation. If a quoted part number differs from the specification, bidders must provide the alternative part number in the format RM#######. Core fees, if applicable, must be entered in the Notes field of the pricing table.

All bids must be submitted electronically through the e-procurement portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/go-metro using the designated pricing form; bids in other formats will be considered non-responsive. Quotes must remain valid for 30 days from submission. SORTA will award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, with evaluation considering character, integrity, regulatory compliance, financial capacity, technical capability, and past performance.

David Drummonds, Supply Chain Coordinator, is the point of contact at ddrummonds@go-metro.com or (513) 632-7548.

RFQ Bid Form Instructions

BIDS NOT SUBMITTED THROUGH E-PROCUREMENT PORTAL WILL BE CONSIDERED NON-RESPONSIVE

PLEASE CONTACT THE BUYER DIRECTLY WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR PROBLEMS WITH A BID

• All suppliers shall utilize the pricing table within the E-procurement portal. Bids received in other formats may be considered non-responsive.

• Items of Importance:

  1. All quotes must have the freight included in the price.
  2. Lead time: L/T must be noted in the NOTES column in the bid table. This is the lead-time required to fulfill the entire delivered qty on the RFQ. Lead-time should be in days only and reflect the number of days required to fulfill the entire delivered qty on the RFQ.
  3. "Stock" quotes are subjective and will still require a L/T in days for us to fairly evaluate bids.
  4. If the part is not OEM or the specific part # requested, please put the following format in the lead time notes with the specific part # you are quoting. (RM#######)
  5. Enter any Core fee in the NOTES field located in the pricing table
  6. If you do not carry a part, please select "no bid."
