About this opportunity

Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) is requesting quotations for twenty inventory parts required for transit operations under RFQ 5414, with responses due August 5, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. through the e-Procurement Portal. This is a one-day turnaround solicitation.

The scope comprises gaskets, bushings, harnesses, bearings, switches, governors, sensors, mirrors, windows, and related components across approximately 129 total units with line-item quantities ranging from one to twenty-four. Bidders must quote OEM parts as specified; if offering alternative or non-OEM part numbers, vendors must reference the replacement part number in the format (RM#######). All pricing must include freight and be submitted exclusively through the designated e-Procurement Portal pricing table; submissions in other formats are considered non-responsive. Lead times must be noted in days and reflect the time required to fulfill the entire delivered quantity; "stock" quotes still require a lead-time designation. Any core fees must be entered in the pricing table notes field. Quotes are valid for thirty days from submission.

Award will be made to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid. SORTA will evaluate bidder responsibility based on financial capacity, past performance, technical qualifications, DBE compliance, and organizational capability. David Drummonds, Supply Chain Coordinator, is the point of contact for questions at ddrummonds@go-metro.com or (513) 632-7548.

PLEASE CONTACT THE BUYER DIRECTLY WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR PROBLEMS WITH A BID

• All suppliers shall utilize the pricing table within the E-procurement portal. Bids received in other formats may be considered non-responsive.

• Items of Importance:

  1. All quotes must have the freight included in the price.

  3. "Stock" quotes are subjective and will still require a L/T in days for us to fairly evaluate bids.
  4. If the part is not OEM or the specific part # requested, please put the following format in the lead time notes with the specific part # you are quoting. (RM#######)
  5. Enter any Core fee in the NOTES field located in the pricing table
  6. If you do not carry a part, please select "no bid."
