About this opportunity
Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) is requesting quotations for 41 line items of inventory parts to support transit bus operations under RFQ 5410, with responses due July 30, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. — a same-day deadline. All bids must be submitted electronically through the e-Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/go-metro using the provided pricing table; bids in other formats will be considered non-responsive.
The scope comprises transit bus components including sensors, pulleys, washers, clutches, nuts, filters, mirrors, brake hoses, shock absorbers, clamps, gaskets, and suspension and steering components, with quantities ranging from single units to 50 units per item. Bidders must identify lead times in calendar days required to fulfill entire delivered quantities. If quoting a non-OEM or alternative part number, vendors must note the replacement part number in the format (RM#######). Core fees, where applicable, must be entered in the pricing table notes field. All pricing must include freight charges.
Award will go to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid. SORTA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part. Award criteria include bidder responsibility factors encompassing character, integrity, past performance records, financial resources, technical capability, compliance with FTA Disadvantaged Business Enterprise requirements, and ability to meet delivery schedules. All pricing quotes must remain valid for 30 days from submission.
Questions should be directed to David Drummonds, Supply Chain Coordinator, at ddrummonds@go-metro.com or (513) 632-7548. Late bids will not be considered unless circumstances beyond the bidder's control prevented timely submission or an emergency event warrants extension.

RFQ Bid Form Instructions
BIDS NOT SUBMITTED THROUGH E-PROCUREMENT PORTAL WILL BE CONSIDERED NON-RESPONSIVE
PLEASE CONTACT THE BUYER DIRECTLY WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR PROBLEMS WITH A BID
• All suppliers shall utilize the pricing table within the E-procurement portal. Bids received in other formats may be considered non-responsive.
• Items of Importance:
- All quotes must have the freight included in the price.
- Lead time: L/T must be noted in the NOTES column in the bid table. This is the lead-time required to fulfill the entire delivered qty on the RFQ. Lead-time should be in days only and reflect the number of days required to fulfill the entire delivered qty on the RFQ.
- "Stock" quotes are subjective and will still require a L/T in days for us to fairly evaluate bids.
- If the part is not OEM or the specific part # requested, please put the following format in the lead time notes with the specific part # you are quoting. (RM#######)
- Enter any Core fee in the NOTES field located in the pricing table
- If you do not carry a part, please select "no bid."
