About this opportunity
Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) is requesting quotations for 21 line items of inventory parts to support transit operations under RFQ 5408, with responses due July 28, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. — a same-day deadline. All bids must be submitted electronically through SORTA's e-Procurement Portal; bids in other formats will be considered non-responsive.
The scope comprises 57 transit vehicle components across 21 line items, including steering assemblies, belts, valves, hoses, driveshafts, lamps, solenoids, sensors, covers, sunshades, horns, switches, controllers, and hub caps, with quantities ranging from one to fourteen units per line item. All pricing must be all-inclusive of freight and delivered to SORTA's Cincinnati, Ohio location. Bidders must specify lead times in days in the pricing table's notes field to reflect time required to fulfill the entire delivered quantity. If quoting non-OEM or alternative part numbers, bidders must identify the substitute part number in the designated format and enter any core fees in the notes field.
Award will be made to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest responsive price. SORTA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part. Responsibility evaluation considers character, integrity, reputation, financial resources, technical capability, past performance, compliance with applicable regulations and DBE requirements, and ability to meet delivery schedules.
Quotes remain valid for 30 days from submission. Inquiries should be directed to David Drummonds, Supply Chain Coordinator, at (513) 632-7548 or ddrummonds@go-metro.com.

RFQ Bid Form Instructions
BIDS NOT SUBMITTED THROUGH E-PROCUREMENT PORTAL WILL BE CONSIDERED NON-RESPONSIVE
PLEASE CONTACT THE BUYER DIRECTLY WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR PROBLEMS WITH A BID
• All suppliers shall utilize the pricing table within the E-procurement portal. Bids received in other formats may be considered non-responsive.
• Items of Importance:
- All quotes must have the freight included in the price.
- Lead time: L/T must be noted in the NOTES column in the bid table. This is the lead-time required to fulfill the entire delivered qty on the RFQ. Lead-time should be in days only and reflect the number of days required to fulfill the entire delivered qty on the RFQ.
- "Stock" quotes are subjective and will still require a L/T in days for us to fairly evaluate bids.
- If the part is not OEM or the specific part # requested, please put the following format in the lead time notes with the specific part # you are quoting. (RM#######)
- Enter any Core fee in the NOTES field located in the pricing table
- If you do not carry a part, please select "no bid."
