The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF), through its Office of Child and Family Well-Being and Office of Communications, is seeking not-for-profit organization(s) to develop and implement a full campaign around the state's Responsible Fatherhood Initiative. This statewide program aims to provide support and resources to Florida fathers to promote their involvement in their children's lives. The procurement has two key components - Part A focuses on creating a campaign and providing logistical support for Responsible Fatherhood Month activities, while Part B involves providing training and technical assistance for fatherhood programs. Vendors must have experience in marketing and communications, and the contract will run from February 15, 2023 through February 14, 2026, with the possibility of renewal. Proposals were due by December 16, 2022, and the Department plans to post the intended contract award decision by January 23, 2023. The contract opportunity is open to all qualified not-for-profit organizations, and the Department encourages participation from Woman-, Veteran-, and Minority-owned Small Businesses. There is no incumbent identified, and the initiative is funded 100% by General Revenue, with anticipated available funding ranging from $9.8 million to $6 million per year for Part A, and $1 million per year for Part B, subject to the availability of funds. The Department reserves the right to expand services after the contract is executed based on the availability of funds.
