About this opportunity

The New York Power Authority (NYPA) has issued Request for Information (RFI) Q26-7772RJM, posted on May 7, 2026, with a submission deadline of May 22, 2026. This procurement seeks information from qualified service providers regarding Knowledge Management tools and tool suites capable of capturing, categorizing, and utilizing knowledge across the enterprise. The solicitation encompasses three primary components: an Enterprise Knowledge Portal and Knowledge Base providing unified search, navigation, and access across key repositories; Semantic and Knowledge Asset Creation Tools establishing a cohesive semantic layer to facilitate knowledge management and reuse, including support for knowledge-focused AI applications; and a Lessons Learned Management Tool offering a robust platform for documenting and retrieving insights from various projects. NYPA explicitly encourages suppliers to respond even if qualified to deliver only one component of the RFI, indicating the Authority is not necessarily seeking a single supplier for all objectives. Bidders must demonstrate commensurate experience with the required deliverables and qualifications. All bid documents must be obtained through NYPA's Ariba platform, with instructions available at www.nypa.gov; bidders sourcing documents elsewhere assume associated risks.

The procurement documentation does not specify set-aside designations, restrictions on organizational types, or disadvantaged enterprise requirements based on the information provided. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the solicitation materials. The RFI does not indicate an explicit budget range or award value, as this is an information-gathering phase rather than a full request for proposals; specific financial parameters would likely be established following the RFI review and subsequent procurement phases. The location of event and point of contact is NYPA's White Plains office located in White Plains, New York. Interested vendors should access the complete bid documents and submission requirements through the NYPA Ariba portal to ensure full compliance with all procurement conditions and evaluation criteria.
