About this opportunity
The Alabama Department of Commerce, Division of Industrial Development Training (AIDT), is requesting proposals for an Enterprise Workforce Development System with proposals due October 15, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. CDT and questions due October 1, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. CDT.
The system must support AIDT's core programs — traditional project training, leadership development, safety services, and the Robotics Technology Park — with functionality spanning applicant intake and case management, self-scheduling, video interviews, AI-based chatbots, employer engagement tools, SMS and email communications, workflow automation, reporting dashboards, credential tracking, and career-site job posting. The system must integrate seamlessly with AIDT's existing Salesforce and Adobe Learning Management System environments, support API integrations, and operate on secure cloud-based architecture. Respondents must demonstrate experience implementing comparable enterprise systems for state or local government entities within the past five years and provide at least three references and two relevant case studies.
The contract term runs one year commencing from execution through the end of the 2026–2027 academic year. AIDT retains the right to terminate with thirty days' notice; respondents may terminate without cause with at least 160 days' notice. Proposals will be evaluated on a weighted basis: 55 percent for functional fit, requirements compliance, implementation methodology, technical capabilities, Salesforce compatibility, and support model and service-level agreements; 20 percent for cost and overall value; 15 percent for responder experience and organizational capacity; and 10 percent for references and case studies. Respondents must submit comprehensive pricing covering implementation, licensing and subscription fees, hosting, integrations, configuration, training, and ongoing support and maintenance, with pricing firm for the contract duration. Required compliance documentation includes E-Verify enrollment proof, the Beason-Hammon Immigration Status Affidavit, and a Responder Disclosure Statement. Proposals must be submitted through Alabama Buys. Questions should be directed to aprice@aidt.edu.
