About this opportunity

The City of Glenwood Springs is requesting qualifications from concrete contractors for a prequalified-vendor list to execute small concrete projects on a continuing basis, with qualifications due October 6, 2026.

Only contractors on the prequalification list will be invited to bid future projects. The scope encompasses handicapped ramp replacements at intersections, concrete sidewalk panel replacements, curb and gutter replacements, and small foundation work, with individual project volumes ranging from 3 to 60 yards of concrete.

Interested contractors must submit company name, owner information, address, contact details, documentation of relevant expertise, three references for similar projects of comparable size and cost, staff resumes, and a complete list of billable rates for labor, materials, and equipment. The city will use this prequalified list to issue project-specific invitations to bid. Award of individual projects will go to the low bidder whose proposed schedule receives city approval.

No specific contract value, contract term, or funding source is disclosed in the prequalification notice. No set-asides or preference programs are stated. This is a standing-list procurement; once qualified, contractors will compete on a project-by-project basis as the city issues them.
