About this opportunity
The City of Austin, Texas is requesting bids on wastewater pipe installation and rehabilitation on Pino Lane near E. William Cannon Drive under IFB 6100 CLMC1161, with bids due September 10, 2026. The project addresses a capacity bottleneck creating high overflow risk in the existing wastewater system.
The work consists of approximately 1,825 linear feet of new 6-, 8-, 15-, and 18-inch PVC wastewater pipe, including bypass pumping and new pre-cast and cast-in-place manholes. The scope also includes approximately 1,150 linear feet of Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining on an existing 10-inch concrete wastewater line. New flow will reroute from a manhole in Pino Lane south to a manhole on Dove Springs Road. Incidental work encompasses erosion and sedimentation control, pavement repair, stormwater pollution prevention planning, and traffic control during construction.
The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Funding derives from the City of Austin's wastewater infrastructure capital improvement program.
