About this opportunity

Huron Valley Schools in partnership with the CoPro+ cooperative purchasing program managed by the Public Procurement Institute of Michigan is requesting qualifications for an Integrated Pest Management Program and Pest Control Maintenance Services, with proposals due August 20, 2026 at 12:00 PM Eastern Time. The resulting contract will serve as a statewide cooperative vehicle for other Michigan school districts and public entities, expanding scope and competitiveness beyond the primary customer.

The scope covers integrated pest management across 20 Huron Valley Schools facilities in Highland, White Lake, Milford, and Commerce Township, Michigan, including monthly monitoring visits, facility inspections, pest treatment for rodents, insects, termites, bed bugs, and head lice, staff training, and supplies such as traps and non-toxic products. Vendors must quote an annual total cost on an F.O.B. Delivered basis under Net 30 payment terms, excluding sales tax, and must add a 2% administrative fee payable quarterly to CoPro+ based on actual sales volume.

Mandatory qualifications are current Michigan licensure, state-certified technicians, and three customer references for equivalent services performed for a minimum of three years within the past five years. The evaluation framework allocates 35 points for experience and qualifications, 25 points for team strength, 20 points for cost, and 20 points for references; proposals scoring 80 or more points are eligible for award. Multiple vendors may be selected.

The initial contract term runs from award through June 30, 2027, with full contract years from July 1 through June 30 for years two and three, plus two optional one-year renewal periods. Written questions are due July 30, 2026, with answers posted August 4, 2026. Award is anticipated in September 2026.
