About this opportunity
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is requesting quotes for Integrated Pest Management pest control services at the San Jacinto Wildlife Area in Riverside County, with quotes due August 7, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Pacific.
Contractors must hold a valid Structural Pest Control Board License from the Department of Consumer Affairs and a valid Qualified Applicator License for Landscape Maintenance (Category B) from the Department of Pesticide Regulation throughout the contract term — these are binding eligibility requirements. The scope covers Integrated Pest Management services for mice, rats, crawling insects, and flying insects across multiple CDFW-owned structures: two work buildings, two residences, one water treatment building, and one public restroom located at 17050 Davis Road, Lakeview. The contract deliverables include an initial comprehensive assessment and IPM service plan in month one, followed by quarterly IPM services and inspections. The contract term runs from approval through June 30, 2029, a three-year agreement.
Contract maximum is not specified; it will be determined based on the awarded vendor's total quote. All contractor costs, including labor, taxes, transportation, and other necessary expenses, must be included in quoted rates. Payment occurs quarterly in arrears upon submission of itemized invoices.
Insurance requirements are Commercial General Liability ($1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate), Automobile Liability ($1,000,000 combined single limit), Pollution Liability ($1,000,000 each occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate), and Workers Compensation with Employers Liability ($1,000,000). Submissions must include a completed RFQ checklist, quote sheet with unit rates and total agreement amount, Payee Data Record (STD 204), Contractor Certification Clauses, Darfur Contracting Act Certification, and valid California business license.
