About this opportunity
The State of Alabama is requesting quotes for pest control services for FY27 in Mobile, with quotes due October 7, 2026.
Suppliers must be registered in Alabama Buys and submit responses electronically through that platform. The solicitation follows Alabama's Quick Quote process and is governed by the Standard Terms and Conditions for Quick Quotes issued by the State of Alabama Office of the Chief Procurement Officer.
The scope covers pest control services to maintain pest-free environments across designated facilities, including identification of service areas, frequency of treatments, labor, materials, and specialized treatments as required. Specific service locations and treatment frequency are detailed in the Quote Request for Pest Control.pdf attachment.
The contract may be renewed annually by mutual written agreement up to a total contract cost of $25,000 or a maximum of five years from the effective date. Suppliers must comply with Alabama's foreign corporation registration requirements, enroll in E-Verify if they employ workers in Alabama, and register with the Alabama Secretary of State if out-of-state entities. Suppliers must accept multiple forms of electronic payment at no additional cost to the State. Price escalation requests are limited to 5 percent of annual contract costs and must be supported by documentation. The State reserves the right to conduct cost realism and price reasonableness analyses on all quotes and to request proof of qualifications including professional licenses and certificates of insurance after quote opening. Alabama is exempt from sales tax. The procurement agreement is governed by Alabama law with exclusive venue in Montgomery.
