About this opportunity
The New York Power Authority is soliciting proposals for perfluorocarbon tracers services, with proposals due August 31, 2026. The solicitation carries a single-source requirement: the Power Authority will not consider alternate manufacturer parts in lieu of original equipment manufacturer parts, a constraint that substantially narrows the competitive field and may preclude bidders without direct OEM authorization.
No set-asides or participation goals apply — SDVOB, MBE, WBE, and DBE goals are all zero percent. No incumbent is identified, and no estimated contract value, contract term, or place of performance is stated in the available source material. The solicitation cautions bidders to obtain all current bid documents, addenda, and notices exclusively through the Power Authority's website at www.nypa.gov or the Ariba procurement portal; bid documents obtained from other sources are at the bidder's risk, and incomplete responses may be rejected. The source does not identify a pre-bid meeting, site visit, or question-submission deadline separate from the August 31 proposal due date.
