About this opportunity

The City of St. Marys, Georgia is soliciting proposals for a pavement evaluation study covering approximately 120 centerline miles of public streets and roadways, with proposals due March 1, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. under RFP.

The scope requires an inventory and pavement condition rating survey and evaluation following GDOT COPACES methodology (not ASTM D6433-18). Deliverables include video documentation of each street surveyed, photographs of sample sections used to determine Pavement Condition Index (PCI) ratings, and conditional striping assessment using Excellent, Good, Fair, and Critical ratings. Streets must be rated on a per-mile basis. The City will provide a shapefile from its GIS database for consultants to populate with PCI ratings and recommendations, though the City acknowledges the shapefile does not currently distinguish between private and public roads. The City supplied a reference spreadsheet listing streets by location with right-of-way widths and mileage; however, this list is incomplete, not maintained, and does not break the 120 centerline miles by functional class.

Consultants must execute and fax signed acknowledgment of Addendum No. 1 to the City of St. Marys Purchasing Department at (912) 510-4012 for inclusion in their proposal submission.

Contract value, budget range, contract term, incumbent contractor status, and evaluation criteria weighting are not specified in available documents.
